Contract WordPress Developer
We have a remote position available immediately for a WordPress/PHP Jedi Master in Arusha. This position is on a contract basis and would require anywhere from 20 – 40 hours worth of work a week. This position can possibly lead to full-time employment. Pay rate will be based upon level of knowledge and experience.
About You
You can read and write PHP code backwards, hanging upside down from the top of Mount Kilimanjaro’s Kibo Peak while turning our clients’s dreams into reality quickly and efficiently.
You are willing to roll up your sleeves and create robust custom WordPress plug ins that will evoke a resounding, Oh, snap!, from the team.
You know the inner workings of WordPress like the back of your hand and the word “can’t” is not a part of your vocabulary.
You know you are good but realize there is always something new to learn. You are accessible during normal business hours, communicative, reliable and able to get the job right, on time and on budget.
Position Requirements:
- Expert knowledge of PHP/MySQL
- Expert knowledge of jQuery and WordPress
- Proficient in clean, hand written XHTML and CSS coding with a keen eye for standards and cross browser performance
- This is not a design position,but a good sense of design is a plus
- A minimum of 1 year of developer experience working with WordPress. Examples of jawdropping WordPress sites you have developed will put you at the head of the class
- Examples of working WordPress plug ins you’ve created is a plus
